POSITION: Software Engineer
LOCATION: Hudson, NH
POSITION
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Using programming applications, write, debug, code and test specifications for product releases.
- Create and execute test plans while working with appropriate test equipment.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of key components of a complex imaging system.
- Develop a familiarization with all products and a working knowledge of various development tools.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design and methodology, and design patterns.
- Expertise in multi-threaded application development using C++
EDUCATION/
EXPERIENCE:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related discipline
- At least three (3) years of directly related work experience, including experience developing user interfaces and machine control applications
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years experience in Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, Visual C++, and Visual SourceSafe development environment
- Minimum of 3-5 years with Microsoft Windows based application programming
- Excellent problem solving, analysis and communication skills
- Experience with embedded controllers or Digital Signal Processors a plus
- Experience with device drivers and .NET a plus
- Successful applicants will work to code and debug software applications for a family of direct imaging products in the graphic arts industry.
- The candidate must be capable of working independently, applying knowledge of solid engineering practices and concepts to a wide variety of projects.
- This position requires the maintenance of existing systems and the design, test and release of new product options.
- A successful candidate will be eager to learn new technology, techniques, software tools and equipment in a dynamic engineering organization
