Development of our pre-press products has always been based on three main objectives: reliability, affordability, and ease of use. As technology has progressed over the last decade so has the line of pre-press products that Presstek offers. We continue to focus on developing and manufacturing technologies that are being used in the larger format printing markets and adapting them for use in the small-to-medium-format market. This means providing products that fit the output size and price point of the small and medium format print shop.
Presstek's philosophy in pre-press development is that film is becoming a thing of the past. Computer-to-Plate is the present and the immediate future. And that is the driving force behind our product lines including the VectorTX52, Dimension Excel Series and Dimension800, and the ABDick Digital PlateMaster.
Presstek manufactures the Vector TX52 and Dimension Excel series of chemistry-free CTP solutions. Both series are designed to streamline plate production while delivering the speed, quality and performance needed to meet customer demands. Dimension and Vector platesetters are compact, daylight-safe, chemistry-free, and easy-to-use.
