Townsend T-51 Second Color Heads
Townsend T-51 Heads can be added to ABDick small offets to provide 2-colors-in-a-single-pass capabilities.
Adding a second image to the blanket allows 2-color reproduction with one pass through the print head. It is gear driven from the basic offset and has a swing-away arm mounted to the parent press for ease of use.
Townsend offers three types of swing-away second color heads:

The standard Swing-Away model offers two ink form rollers
and a choice of a 5-roller Aqua Moisture System or a Standard
Molleton moisture system. |

The AE or Anniversary Edition head offers the standard features
plus the ability to make vertical, horizontal and skew image
movement “on-the-fly” found only in the Anniversary
model. Also the moisture system is available in a continuous
moisture (CMS) configuration. |

The S-1 model offers three ink form rollers for demanding print applications. The S-1 also comes with a choice of CMS Continuous Moisture System or an Aqua moisture system. |
