One of Presstek’s main growth initiatives is to expand internationally. Expanding distribution and demonstrating equipment at major international trade shows are key steps in achieving this goal.

Sold through Presstek’s India Dealer, Nippon Color, a Presstek 52DI-AC press has been installed at Reproscan, leading provider of printing, pre-press, design and photography services. Based in Lower Parel, Mumbai, Reproscan’s clients include Elle, Haute, Top Gear, Art India, the Times of India and Mapin Publishing.
Presstek is proud to have sponsored both the 9th and 10th annual Asian Print Awards, the 10th being held on November 29th, 2012. This annual event recognizes outstanding achievement in the print and packaging industries across Asia. Presstek’s Director of Asia Pacific Sales, Tim Sawyer, presented awards to local printers. Tim was accompanied by many Presstek customers and dealer Aserve Global Solutions.
In Düsseldorf, Germany during drupa in May, 2012 Presstek showcased the Presstek 75DI and 52DI digital offset presses. Presstek also announced product improvements for the flagship 75DI press including variable data capabilities, perfecting options and the new Virtuoso print quality system.

Fischerdruck GmbH & Co. KG recently installed in a Presstek 52DI-AC digital offset press. With its new 52DI-AC, Fisherdruck is producing more short- and medium-run work in house, resulting in reduced costs, better job management, and improved profitability.
During the Graphics of America trade show in February 2012 Presstek and its dealer Soluciones del Futuro hosted printers from Latin America at Miami, FL based City Colors. City Colors demonstrated their two Presstek 52DI presses and provided insight into how they operate their business. City Colors is a family owned trade printer that specializes in business cards, postcards, and other color products.
Alianza Grafica SA, a pharmaceutical packaging printer in Colombia, visited Presstek in January, 2012 for Operator Training. They recently purchased a Presstek 52DI-AC digital offset press for their shop in Cali, Colombia. This is their second DI press purchase from Presstek; their first was a Presstek 52DI for their shop in Bogota.

Editorial Binev, a Caracas, Venezuela based commercial printer, and Solutiones del Futuro, one of Presstek’s South American dealers, recently hosted an open house at Editorial Binev highlighting their new Presstek 34DI digital offset press.

Presstek distribution partner, Graphicolor, recently added a Presstek 75DI digital offset press to its state-of-the-art showroom in Côte d'Ivoire, Africa. In their dual role of distributor and print service provider, Graphicolor will continue to use their previously installed Presstek 52DI . Graphicolor looks forward to providing an even greater range of fast-turnaround, versatile, cost-effective, and high-quality digital offset solutions.

The Presstek 52DI digital offset press was recently demonstrated at the All in Print China Show to large crowds in the Shanghai Electric Printing & Packaging Machinery Group booth. China represents a large market with a growing demand for low cost, high quality short-run color printing delivered in an environmentally friendly fashion. This was the first time a Presstek DI press was demonstrated in China. Visitors were impressed by the DI's unique, compact design and on-press imaging technology. The high print quality and speed of the Presstek DI press was particularly impressive to attendees.
