Hudson, NH USA - September 13, 2016 - Presstek, LLC, leading provider of eco-friendly printing solutions, today announced its ground-breaking Zahara plates will being demonstrated live at Labelexpo Americas 2016 (September 13-15, Donald E Stephens Convention Center, Chicago) on the CODIMAG VIVA340 evolution press (CODIMAG booth #5803).

Presstek’s unique, chemistry-free waterless Zahara plates, being imaged on its Dimension Pro2 CTP system and operating on CODIMAG’s VIVA340 evolution, will be a must-see for Labelexpo visitors. The live demonstrations will provide a valuable opportunity to see, first-hand, how this innovative end-to-end solution provides a streamlined, reliable, chemistry-free production process for label and packaging converters.

The six-color, roll-to-toll VIVA340 evolution label press utilizes CODIMAG’s revolutionary Aniflo print technology, a keyless anilox offset unit that ensures the printing process is stable and predictable. Designed to meet the industry’s increasing demand for short-runs and quick set-up, the VIVA340 is an intermittent press that enables converters to benefit from the simplicity of a flexo solution, the quality of an offset system and the flexibility of a digital press.

Being printed live on the VIVA340 at Labelexpo will be real customer jobs, an initiative that CODIMAG has branded AnifloLive. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own PDF files to the booth for imaging Presstek Zahara plates and set up the job for production there and then.
